Gynaecological conditions

There are a great many gynaecological conditions — some of them tied to infertility, some of them not. Let me take you through a few of the common ones.

Common gynaecological conditions

• PCOS — polycystic ovary syndrome
• Endometriosis — endometrial tissue growing in the wrong place
• Myoma — fibroids, benign tumours of the uterine muscle
• Endometrial polyps — polyps inside the uterine cavity
• Adenomyosis — an enlarged uterus caused by infiltrating endometrial tissue
