Hello. Today I have another product to tell you about — for those of you having trouble conceiving, miscarrying often, or whose embryo transfers have not worked.

What Bromelain is

Bromelain is an enzyme extracted from pineapple. Without a coating that survives the acid in the stomach, all it does is aid digestion and settle bloating. But once it gets past that acid it is absorbed, and then it:

  1. reduce inflammation (anti-inflammation);
  2. reduce blood clotting (anti-coagulant) — and those first two are exactly what aspirin does, the aspirin patients are so often given around the time of transfer;
  3. reduce pain;
  4. reduce the formation of adhesions, whether from disease such as endometriosis or after surgery.
The summary slide — Bromelain is a digestive enzyme extracted from pineapple, and when coated against the digestive juices (enteric coated) it also acts to reduce inflammation (anti-inflammation), reduce clotting (anti-platelet, much like aspirin) and prevent adhesions forming in the abdominal cavity (anti-adhesive).

What Bromelain may also do

And beyond that, Bromelain may:

  • raise the chance of the embryo implanting;
  • lower the miscarriage rate;
  • reduce endometriosis, and adhesions after surgery.
